An elegant heron made from laser cut steel with a stunning rainbow patina. This unique eye-catching design would make a beautiful focal point in any room.

My wall mounted metal art is all made to last from high quality 2 mm steel. To create the iridescent patina I used a gas torch to temper the metal. It’s an amazing process, like painting with fire. Each piece is completely unique. I then apply a layer of clear acrylic spray to seal and protect the surface.

The artwork is supplied with an easy to use  ‘invisible’ hanging system of strong magnets and screws. Please note drilling is required to attach the two magnets to the wall (screws are provided).

In order to ensure the longevity of the rainbow patina it is recommended to keep my heat treated designs indoors. I also make a large version of the heron design in stainless steel as a garden sculpture.
