I was really pleased to be asked to make my first public sculpture earlier this year. ‘Mrs Foxy’, who could probably use a more dignified title, was commissioned for the new Angela Fox Nature Garden in Cuckfield, West Sussex, and she was installed there in October. The garden is still a work in progress, so here is a photo of Mrs Foxy before she left home. She’s made of 10 mm mild steel welded to a large circular base. I rusted the surface then oiled it to protect it from further corrosion.
