This beautiful semi abstract metal artwork features two fish leaping from a wave.
It is made from high quality 2 mm steel and to create the beautiful colours on the metal I tempered it using a gas torch. It’s an amazing process, like painting with fire. In lower light the design appears dark, and in brighter light the iridescent colours sparkle and shine. Every piece is completely unique.
In order to ensure the longevity of the tempered patina it is recommended to keep my heat treated designs indoors. If you wish to display the artwork outdoors, I can also make the design in weather resistant sealed rusted steel, or in stainless steel – please contact me.
The artwork is supplied with an easy to use ‘invisible’ hanging system of strong magnets and screws. Please note drilling is required to attach the two magnets to the wall (screws are provided).
