A damselfly made from laser cut steel which has been heat tempered to give a beautiful rainbow effect. A unique and eye-catching design which would make a beautiful focal point in any room.

My wall mounted metal art is all made to last from high quality 2 mm steel. To create the shining iridescent patina on this design I used a gas torch to temper the metal. It’s an amazing process, like painting with fire. Each piece is completely unique. I then apply a layer of clear acrylic spray to protect the surface.

I recommend hanging tempered steel artwork indoors. I can also make the damselfly in stainless steel which is ideal for hanging outdoors.

The artwork is supplied with an easy to use  ‘invisible’ hanging system of strong magnets and screws. Please note drilling is required to attach the two magnets to the wall (screws are provided).
