A contemporary metal sculpture of a leaping brown hare, created from 5 mm steel. The surface has been allowed to rust then oiled to create a rich red patina. A clear coating has then been applied to prevent further corrosion.
The sculpture is freestanding and measures 46 cm tall by 57 cm. The base measures 12 x 40 cm. The base has holes in the corners allowing it to be securely attached, if necessary, using 5 mm screws (not supplied).
