This limited edition Giclee print is a high quality reproduction of an acrylic painting. It shows the view towards Nicky Nook, a small fell on the edge of the Forest of Bowland near where I live. I l love to paint sheep but I also never tire of the ever changing skies in this part of the world. On the day I painted this there was a narrow band of light over Morecambe Bay and the Irish Sea, a strip of gold lighting up an otherwise unremarkable day.
The print is generated from a high resolution digital scan and is printed on 310 gsm fine art paper. The Giclee printing process provides better colour accuracy than other means of reproduction and archival quality inks ensure that the prints will not fade over time. The print is from a print run of 100.
The print comes mounted in a pale ivory coloured mount measuring 5 cm wide. Including the mount, it measures 51 x 46 cm. It is also available in a smaller size – please contact me for details.
