An original semi-abstract mixed media and collage painting. It’s based on a street in Lancaster, in north west England, where I used to live. I created the artwork using colours, shapes and images torn and hand cut from magazines, junk mail, old abandoned books, and re-purposed drawings and paintings. I then drew and painted on top of the collage layer to add accents and focal points.

The painting is framed in a thin black ash frame with a red mount. It measures 41 x 50 cm.
