This acrylic painting is a study of the early evening light, a time of day when the colours turn magical. Looking out to the Firth of Forth everything appeared tinged by silver or gold. I thought the almost empty harbour seemed really peaceful. At low tide nothing is happening, nobody was around.
The painting is framed in pale wood. Including the frame it measures 65 x 55 cm (25.5″ x 21.5″).
