A contemporary mixed media painting featuring the Forest of Bowland in north west England. I painted the artwork using acrylics, and then added a collage layer using hand made prints and re-purposed paintings, as well as colours, shapes and images torn from magazines and junk mail. I live on the edge of the Forest of Bowland and really love the patchwork landscape of drystone walls, barns and moorland.
The painting is framed in a pale ash frame with a slate blue mount, and is ready to hang. Including the frame it measures 48 x 40 cm.
