Wildlife sculptures on show at Maiden Bridge Arts Centre

I’m honoured to be showing a selection of my wildlife sculptures in Maiden Bridge Arts Centre, in their summer exhibition. Maiden Bridge is situated on a former farm high in the Bowland Fells above the Lune Valley in a truly lovely location. This is my first time showing work at Maiden Bridge, my first exhibition following maternity leave, and the exhibition itself has been twice delayed due to Covid, so it feels quite significant to me. The exhibition runs on weekends from Saturday 28th May until Sunday 10th July.

I’m showing three welded bird sculptures made from up-cycled cutlery, and two larger sculptures in steel, a barn owl and curlew. I felt the curlew was appropriate for the location up on the fells.
