We are lucky enough to have a resident barn owl who we see quite regularly hunting over the field next to us, and I love the ghostly way it swoops out of the darkness, completely silently. I painted this after an autumn storm, having watched the full Hunter’s Moon rising through the clouds.

The painting is framed in a wide pale ash frame and ready to hang. Including the frame it measures 62 x 52 cm.
