A contemporary mixed media painting featuring the Forest of Bowland in north west England. I painted the artwork using acrylics, and then added layers of texture using fragments of prints and re-purposed paintings, as well as colours, shapes and images torn from magazines and junk mail. I live on the edge of the Forest of Bowland and love the patchwork landscape of fields, moorland and drystone walls.
The painting is framed in a pale ash frame and ready to hang. Including the frame it measures 45 x 51 cm.
