I’ve been going through my sketchbooks and scanning pictures. Here’s a couple watercolour studies of the beautiful Atlantic coast of Mull, or to be more correct the rather beautifully named Sea of the Hebrides.
I’ve been spending the majority of my painting time this year working at a slower pace on larger scale landscapes, which is why I haven’t been posting much on my blog. I am building up an exhibition of landscapes from Shetland and Australia, tracing the route taken by the majority of my Scottish ancestors (my great Granny decided to stay in Edinburgh, hence I exist here and not in some alternate sun filled barbie firing existence). All rather irrelevant to this particular post in any case, but in due course I will be uploading some images of my newer work.
