Lune Drawings 14 and 15

I’m halfway through my month of daily river drawings. Not sure I’m actually going to be able to stop though, I really love spending time each day watching and drawing. The last two days I’ve been down at my local patch in the early evening, watching gulls at low tide. There are a few different types of gull here. Yesterdays drawing shows lesser black-backed gulls and herring gulls. Not very well drawn but I think I’m improving. From a distance all their eyes looked black but herring gulls actually have pretty crazy looking yellow eyes. Today I sketched three lesser black-backs. Yesterday the mud and water was all silver, grey brown and pale green but today the sun was out and the colours were really intense.
